The annual celebration of Earth Day is on April twenty-second. It is a day to demonstrate worldwide support for Environmental protection. The commemorations for this day are all different; people choose to celebrate in many different ways. It is a special day to raise awareness of the need to keep our planet clean and safe for future generations. It is of dire importance to understand the affect we have on our planet with our pollution, for this reason it is a great event to have worldwide. We must make changes now that will prevent further damage to our planet. While many already celebrate it would be a wonderful thing to have everyone participate in some way.
Activities range differently all over; it is celebrated by hundreds of millions of people. Two hundred million people in over 140 nations participate; 184 countries and 5,000 environmental groups use this day to commemorate the importance of keeping our planet free of pollution and raise this awareness in special ways. According to the EDN more than 1 billion people are involved in Earth Day activities each year. We all need to do our part in this fight and keep our world clear of pollution; there are many preventative measures one could take. Many people use Earth Day as a day to go out and do something good for our earth, a lot of times people choose to go out and plant trees or pick up trash. These are all good ways but there is also another way you can help and continue helping every day. Simple things we can do make a hug difference.
One of the growing issues contributing to pollution is e-waste. E-waste is the term for our old electronics we no longer have use for; most of the world has e-waste in their home or offices. What we do with our e-waste is what creates the issue. A lot of us aren’t well informed on the dangers that e-waste creates and has already created. We do not understand the consequences of our actions so something like throwing away your old tube TV might not seem like a big deal to you but in reality it causes our planet much damage. There is however a solution, there are E-cyclers who can responsibly take care of your electronic waste and make sure it causes no harm. This too can be an action you take day to day and especially on Earth Day.
NTRecycling is a zero waste to landfill company meaning nothing you give us will end up in a landfill. We dispose of your electronics in a safe and smart manner. We pride ourselves in our company because of the change we can help make. Something as simple as giving us a call to pick up your old TV is a step towards a better future for our earth. Earth day is a day for everyone to celebrate in their own way to help our environment. When you think of Earth Day do something positive for your world; look around your office or home and gather all the electronics that would otherwise sit in a landfill and give us a call.
